The Mt. Makiling

Mt. Makiling is located on the border of Laguna and Batangas, it is an inactive volcano without records of eruptions. The University of the Philippines Los Baños were assigned as the official caretaker of Mt. Makiling. It is known for its amazing beauty and different plants and animals.

A good place to hike or to bike, it’s good for relaxation, sightseeing and outdoor activities where you can enjoy the scenery at the same time. The place is refreshing, there are many spring resorts that is very relaxing with the ambiance of the Mt. Makiling itself. It is a protected area, that’s why it is famous for mountain climbers and tourists. There are many places where you can visit around the area of Mt. Makiling, and one of them is this Re-Creation Center where you can find at the foot of Mt. Makiling

Mt. Makiling is surely captivating, but now we will focus more on MMRC, exploring how beautiful this place is.

CCF Mt. Makiling Re-Creation Center is designed for Christian Conference Center, not a resort, but surely all types of adults, families and individuals are welcome to enjoy their facilities. Once you experienced their facilities, you will always want to come back.

I am always satisfied after eating their good quality food, it’s really fun when you can eat-all-you-can together with your family and friends because you can enjoy it with your beloved ones.

It is said that their biggest attraction is their buffet-style meals which they are really proud of, because you can’t deny but to admit that it is really appetizing and will surely satisfy your hunger.

These are some of their buffet-meals:

  • Mango Café with Wifi

We all know it’s hard to find cellular signals in mountains, that’s why here in Mango Café you can connect your devices on the wi-fi for free. This café is comfortable to stay in, not only because of the wi-fi connection but also with their attractive menus, which serves hot and cold beverages, espresso drinks, ice creams, yogurts, sandwiches, snacks, and more.

I never lost the chance to always buy their frappes and frozen yogurts when I visit this place because it’s mouth craving!

They also serve comfortable chairs and sofas where you can enjoy chit-chats with family or friends.

These are some of my pictures in the café with my sister and mother.

Not only that! The café also offers board games like dama, chess, card games, table tennis and others. You will definitely never be bored in this place.

  • Horse-back riding and Calesa

It’s my first time to experience horse-back riding so I really enjoyed this, and for just only 50 pesos you can go around riding their horses, it’s really enjoyable and safe because their staff will assist you.

  • Swimming Pool and Covered Basketball Court

If you’re going to ask me, this place is also one of the best places to bond with your family and friends because here in their Swimming Pool, it has colorful fountains, waterfalls, and infinity edges. I can say that it is refreshing to swim here.

I don’t usually play basketball but when I’m with my friends and family I always want to play with them. There was a time that we’re playing here and it’s raining, the good thing is the court is covered so we enjoyed playing without being soaked in the rain. It is fun because the floor is not slippery.

  • Accommodation

After all the fun-filled activities, they have the best place to rest. Offering a clean room for family and friends, perfect for laying down because the beds are absolutely comfortable. This air-conditioned room will never disappoint you, it will serve a pleasant place to take a rest.

We really enjoyed resting here, it is perfect for siestas and overnight.

The activities, ambiance, foods, and accommodation will not disappoint you! So if you want to try something new and fresh, MMRC is ready to satisfy your expectations.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
